Ask, Believe, Receive

It is so sad to see so many people in crisis in this country.   As I read through the many blog postings, there are many on the brink of homelessness, without medical care, without jobs and with children to feed and bills to pay...   where does a person go when they have no family to take them in?   Few or no friends--who are often in similar situations--no community to help them...   some appear to be in rural areas where there are few or no services available.

I don't have answers to these questions...     I have offered suggestions for locating resources, but again, in rural areas, and if there is no transportation available, resources can be extremely difficult to access.     My hope would be that if people who see these blogs live near those who are posting and can help in any tangible way, they will.

I myself am close to losing my home.    I was able to access a few dollars from a family member and get some additional help from my township trustee, but still, my situation is precarious.      I have had to make tough choices.     The sad reality is that our nation has been going downhill for some time and it will take time to bring it back again.  That doesn't help those who are in crisis now, of course.      So what can we do while we wait for our government to pull us out of this mess?

It is time we build communities again...    I'm not talking about houses and buildings.. I'm talking about community in terms of relationships; where neighbors help each other out--   watch a neighbor's child so they can look for work; share food wherever possible; loan your car or drive someone to an appointment or to look for a job.   These are things we, the people, can do for each other...     Money is tight everywhere...  let's share what we have and do what we can to help each other make it through these tough times.

Most importantly, we must ask for what we need and we must believe we will get it and that we deserve it!!

I myself am close to losing my home. have been served my paper to appear in court.  Cause the will not let me do my own repairs with the claim money I recieved.  The financial company says it has be done by licensed contractor so they know their property id repaired.  If they were so concerned why they let the home get by the inspector on this one with several builder flaws and delivered before foundation was built, setting onlevel 3 months.  This added to the flaws as now floors are unlevel door don't open and close right, some things they did have caused major problems and can be fixed along with thge roof over the damaged bedroom from IKE.  yikes who cares not my local politician, not the morgage compnay and not even the builders Palm Harbour Homes nor does the morgage companies cause they getting theirs even tho this the type of housing they will mortgage, know hundreds in same situation, now why should I expect my neighbor to help, no I want these people policed and fined and me served and treated as a working citizen fight for the greater good of all people.  Let them all have they jobs but pay into the taxes, social security and assist program like food stamps medicare can still help the real in need folks, but not just by us who paid our taxes etc.
